Project Overview
The schemes linked central town centre to existing/proposed residential and employment areas to the south of Reading including Green Park and the new Mereoak P&R facility.
Unveiled in four consecutive phases (1B/2/3/4B) of construction and included widening of the A33 to create a new bus lane adjacent to the existing carriageway.
Wills Bros’ sensitive approach to traffic management enabled the works to progress with little to no restriction to traffic and pedestrian movements during the works. Traffic Management Plans was carried out in accordance with UK Chapter 8. The Client expressed their gratitude with regard to successful TM on completion of the project.

- Relocation of a northbound bus lane (from the right lane to the left lane) and the addition of a southbound bus stop on the A33 near the M4 Junction 11 (Little Lea)
