Project Overview
The project involved the construction of a new Client Laboratory Building with a tie into an existing Laboratory and 2 Warehouse Extensions with tie ins to the existing facility, with all works constructed within an existing live Pharmaceutical Production environment. Wills Bros scope of works consisted of the:
- Bulk earthworks,
- Subformation construction including certification and bulk concrete filling to bedrock,
- The construction of insitu concrete pad foundations and insitu ground beams.
- CFA piling
- The construction of 4no insitu concrete staircores ranging from 20m – 32m high
- All underslab services including LV, ELV, Drainage, Stainless Steel and Polypropylene Process Drainage and radon pipework.
- MV Electrical Diversion works including decommissioning and installation of new MV Service Chambers
- The construction of a 400m2, 18m high insitu concrete frame Weigh and Dispense Facility,
- All ground floor slabs to FM2 finish with 400m2 to DM1 Flatness
- All upper-level composite floor slabs to flatness FM3
- Construction of new piperacks and process sumps insitu concrete
