Project Overview
The works comprised the upgrading of a 700m section of the A382 south of Gairloch from single track to a single carriageway road. Works also include site clearance, road restraint systems, drainage, earthworks (including rock excavation), surfacing, traffic signs, road marking and utility diversions.
Wills Bros are delighted to have delivered this key phase of widening on the A832 at Slattadale on behalf of The Highland Council and we look forward to seeing the benefits this project will bring to road users and the local community. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their patience and co-operation while the works were ongoing and would also like to thank all our supply chain partners, who assisted us with a successful delivery.
We processed the majority of the excavated rock on site to be reused within the road improvement, demonstrating our strong commitment to sustainable working practices and reducing environmental impacts within the construction industry.
