When the going gets tough the ‘woof’ gets going!
We are very proud to introduce all our followers to MIA – the trainee therapy dog. In partnership with Assistance Dog’s Northern Ireland (ADNI), Mia’s training and developing is being fully sponsored by SWS Joint Venture and the A6 Dungiven to Drumahoe Dualling Scheme as a project legacy.
Upon completion of her training, Mia will spend her life working as a canine Therapy Dog visiting the public all over Limavady and Dungiven, providing affection, comfort and emotional support to anyone that needs it. Examples of places Mia will visit over her lifetime will include hospitals, hospices, schools and prisons.
