Another Win for the A939 Gairnshiel Jubilee Bridge!
The Civic Trust Awards proudly celebrated its 66th Anniversary with the annual Awards Ceremony held on Friday 4th April at The Concorde Conference Centre, Altrincham and hosted by CTA Patron George Clarke. 6 highly coveted Special Awards were given to schemes which have demonstrated truly outstanding work in a specific field. All projects of award-winning standard were considered for each of the Special Awards by National Judging Panel members and Sponsors who determined the individual winners.
We are excited to share that the A939 Gairnshiel Jubilee Bridge received yet another accolade at the CIVIC TRUST AWARDS in Manchester where the very dapper Richard Henderson, attended the ceremony to collect the award on behalf of the team.
This remarkable bridge, opened in October 2023, stands as a proud symbol of innovation and heritage, replacing a 271 year-old structure that could no longer accommodate modern day traffic. Congratulations to everyone involved in making this project a success!
Delivered on behalf of Aberdeenshire Council, the bridge is a testament to the exceptional work of Moxon Architects Ltd., Arcadis and J & D Pierce (Contracts) Ltd, who worked alongside the Wills Bros project team.
