Project Overview
Located in Argyll and Bute near Kilchrenan on the West Coast of Scotland – a remedial works project to a constructed 20km length of forestry road servicing a windfarm and forestry operations in the area.

- 6km of forest road surfacing
- 100m of new core path
- 40,000m3 excavation (5000m3 of peat used for landscaping)
- Construction of 3 reinforced concrete bridges (480m3 concrete)
- 5x 11m length pre-cast beams to each bridge
- 3 culverts (10-35m)
- Replacement of 25 culverts (450-2400mm, 1-10m depth)
- 12km of road edge drainage ditch works completed
- Significant logistic planning carried out due to site length
- A number of seasonal ecological restrictions in place during the contract period including exclusion zones.
