Join Wills Bros Group, a Tier 1 civil engineering main contractor, as a Section Engineer delivering civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Limerick, Dublin, Tipperary and Leinster. Manage site works across drainage, earthworks, structures and utilities, coordinating engineers and subcontractors to deliver safely, to specification and programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate setting out, surveying, drawing reviews, technical queries and accurate as-built records.
• Manage drainage, earthworks, concrete structures and utility installations or diversions, including inspections and testing.
• Plan resources, coordinate engineers and subcontractors, monitor progress and resolve work-package interfaces and constraints.
• Support health, safety and environmental controls, risk assessments, method statements, quality inspections and corrective actions.
• Liaise with project, design, client and commercial teams; maintain quantities, progress and handover records and support junior engineers.

Experience & Skills – Essential

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent relevant qualification.
• Civil engineering site experience in one or more of drainage, earthworks, structures and utilities, including coordination of site activities and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in setting out, interpreting engineering drawings and using total stations, GNSS and digital levels.
• Sound knowledge of site safety, quality and environmental controls, with strong planning, communication, problem-solving and record-keeping skills.
• Good IT skills, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and SharePoint or similar electronic document management systems.

Experience & Skills – Desirable

• Section Engineer or Senior Site Engineer experience on major roads or multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, including utility diversions and temporary works interfaces.
• Civil 3D, digital terrain modelling or survey data processing experience; professional engineering membership or progress towards accreditation.
• Candidates with strong experience in a particular work package and the ability to coordinate interfaces across other disciplines are encouraged to apply.
