With a growing portfolio of exciting civil engineering projects and a business continuing to expand, Wills Bros Ltd is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Prequalification Manager to join our team. This role bridges construction expertise with business development—supporting high-quality submissions, ensuring compliance, and strengthening our competitive position in the industry. This is a full-time, office-based role in our Foxford office. Remote, hybrid, and part-time options are not available.
About the Role:
As Assistant Prequalification Manager, you will play a key role in preparing client-ready prequalification documentation, supporting tender activities, and maintaining the company’s presence across key industry portals. You’ll collaborate with multiple internal teams and contribute to marketing and capability-building initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor pre-qualification and compliance for civil engineering and construction projects.
- Prepare professional, high-standard submissions and presentations that clearly communicate technical and compliance information.
- Ensure all documentation meets industry standards and internal compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance a robust supplier database.
- Administer and update company information on contractor, supplier, tender, and government portals.
- Provide data-driven insights to support business development and process improvement.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, creating compelling materials that showcase Wills Bros capabilities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in pre-qualification, tendering/bidding, or contractor/vendor evaluation within Civil Engineering / Construction Industry essential.
- Strong presentation and document preparation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Excellent communication skills; highly organised and detail-focused.
- Construction knowledge and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, ERP) is an advantage.
