Wills Bros Group is currently recruiting an HGV (Vac Excavation) Driver to support major civil engineering, infrastructure, and utilities projects across Dublin and Leinster.  This is a permanent opportunity for a Vac Truck Operator / HGV Driver with experience in non-destructive digging (NDD) and working around live underground services. This role is ideal for an experienced Vac Truck Operator / HGV driver seeking stable, long-term work with one of Ireland’s leading civil engineering companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Vacuum Excavation / Hydro Excavation Truck.
• Carry out Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) works.
• Work safely around live utilities (water, gas, ESB, telecoms, drainage).
• Drive and operate HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle).
• Complete daily vehicle inspections & tachograph compliance.
• Adhere to HSA & RSA regulations.
• Follow site RAMS and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Vacuum Excavation / Vac Truck Operating Experience (preferred).
• Valid HGV Licence – Category C or CE.
• Valid Driver CPC-.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Safe Pass & Manual Handling.
• Experience in Utilities / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of underground utility safety.
