As Health & Safety Manager, you will be at the heart of an exciting, high-profile infrastructure project at Dublin Airport. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact while working with a dynamic and collaborative team. The Health & Safety Manager will champion health and safety across the project, providing expert advice and support to design and construction teams. Reporting directly to the Project Director you will ensure compliance with all legal duties and embed best practice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement project health, safety and wellbeing strategies and objectives.
• Advise on company and project-specific health and safety policies to minimise risk and disruption to airport operations.
• Support design and construction teams with safe systems of work and risk reduction strategies.
• Fulfil duties under PSDP and PSCS regulations, including Safety and Health Plans.
• Promote engagement and learning through training, competency standards and workforce consultation.
• Lead the project Health & Safety team and foster professional development.
• Prepare accurate health and safety performance reports and manage compliance audits.
• Investigate incidents thoroughly and implement lessons learned.
• Assess supply chain competence and maintain training matrices.
• Liaise with regulators, airport stakeholders and industry bodies.
• Manage health and safety budgets where required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction health and safety management.
• Legal right to work in Ireland and ability to complete 5-year background screening.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and IOSH membership.
• 3 years’ experience in an airside environment.
• Full EU/ROI driving licence and valid Safe Pass.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• IT proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Experience in audits, risk assessments, method statement reviews and emergency planning.
