Wills Bros were awarded the Design & Construction of Infrastructure Works contract for the first Center Parcs holiday park in Scotland, located near Hawick.

Key elements include:

  • Foundations, service connections and completion works for lodges and other various facilities (e.g. Arrivals Lodge, Primary Substation, Outdoor activities centre, Aqua Sana, Village Centre and Tree Trekking / Action Challenge / Adventure Golf / Zip Wire).
  • Design & Construction of Housekeeping Tech Services Building, Waste Water Treatment Plant, PV Farm, Lochs and landscaping
  • Surfacing, lighting, EV charging and log rolls for car parks and entrance road
  • Platform preparation, retaining walls, basement excavation, and temporary works
  • Construction of 2 lochs with associated rainwater discharge pipes, overflow weir structures and drainage beneath lochs
  • Management of interfaces with other contractors on site (e.g. Energy Centre, Centre Buildings, Lodges)
