The Role

As Project Manager with Wills Bros, you will take responsibility for the successful planning, coordination, commercial management and delivery of a major roadworks project in North Dublin.

Responsibilities

The Role

As a Prequalification Administrator, you will support the preparation, coordination, and submission of prequalification questionnaires and tender-related documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and development of prequalification submissions, PQQs, and tender support documents.

• Support the completion of online prequalification portals and client questionnaires.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information for submissions.
• Assist with formatting, proofreading, and quality checking submission documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

We are currently seeking a motivated Construction Materials Technician to join our team based in Naas, Co. Kildare. While primarily based in our materials testing laboratory in Naas, you will also have regular opportunities to work on live construction sites across Ireland.

The Role

As a Materials Technician, you will support the sampling, on-site testing, and laboratory-based testing various construction materials. This is a hands-on, practical role requiring flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn new skills that will include the opportunity to travel to various construction sites when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out testing of construction materials (soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt)
• Conduct on-site sampling and insitu testing of various materials for analysis
• Complete paperwork maintaining accurate records
• Assist with field and laboratory-based testing activities
• Work within approved UKAS accredited management systems
• Liaise with senior members of staff and clients ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
• Maintain excellent standards of health & safety both on site and in the lab
• Set up, clean, and maintain testing equipment and work areas

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or civil engineering projects is preferred but not essential
•  Physically fit as work tasks include manual handling of test equipment and bagged samples weighing approximately 15 to 20 kilograms.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, and with a strong work ethic
• Good verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full clean EU driving licence and Safe Pass (essential)

The Role

Overview:

We are seeking a Design Coordinator to join our growing civil engineering team on a full time permanent basis (Monday to Friday). In this role you will support the Design Manager in coordinating design activities and ensuring the timely delivery of design outputs in line with project programmes.

You will liaise with external design consultants and assist in maintaining high standards of quality across all deliverables. Key responsibilities include supporting the coordination of design information, monitoring progress against programme milestones and engaging with statutory authorities and stakeholders on specific design elements. You will play an important role in helping ensure that design requirements are clearly communicated and effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle.

You will gain exposure to a variety of projects across highways, bridges, wind farms and battery storage facilities.

The Role (requires):

• Acting on behalf of Wills Bros with our design consultants and the client on design issues.
• Liaison and coordination on Wills Bros behalf with our appointed designers to ensure the design delivery is in accordance with project Contract requirements, specifications, and design standards.
• Ensure that technical reviews and design checks are completed throughout the design process.
• Coordinate with Designers, the completion of design activities, the associated production of design information and the timely release of design deliverables in line with the Contract timeframes.
• Liaison and contribution with the Designers to ensure safe design.
• Administration of design submissions.
• Review and management of technical Non-Conformance Reports or defects.
• Verification of the design in respect of the contract specifications and requirements.
• Coordinate the provision of as-built information, the Health and Safety File and Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

(Non-essential) Preferred Requirements:

• 1-2 years post qualification experience.
• Interest in ground investigation and earthworks.
• Interest in the properties of materials, material testing, and soil mechanics.
• Familiarity with Civil Engineering Industry.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Good communication skills and ability to clearly communicate key issues to the team.
• Good organisational skills and ability to multitask.

Overview:

The Social Value Coordinator Apprentice will support the delivery of social value and commitments on a live civil engineering project.

The role will provide hands-on experience across community engagement, employability, education, sustainability initiatives and reporting, while developing practical skills and working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.  Co-ordination of site wellbeing activities will also form part of the role. This is a site-based role designed to give real exposure to how social value is planned, delivered and evidenced within a major infrastructure project. Full Time Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required, due to the nature of the position).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support engagement with local communities, residents, schools and stakeholders.
• Assist with organising and attending community events, site visits, careers events and “meet the contractor” events.
• Help prepare communications such as newsletters, social media content, noticeboards and project updates.
• Act as a positive ambassador for the project and contractor within the local community.
• Support delivery of STEM engagement activities with schools, colleges and training providers.

The role will involve working closely with the project team to manage the company’s ISO45001 safety management system, promoting a proactive safety culture, engaging directly with the workforce, inspecting work operations, risk assessing levels of compliance against company and client standards, and working closely with, and reporting performance to the project Health and Safety Manager. Core Competency Requirements:

• 3 Years + experience in a Health & Safety advisory role within the construction/Civil Engineering industry.
• Recognised Qualification in Health & Safety.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• High standard of written English.

Day to Day Duties:
