Scottish Civil Engineering Awards 2023
As a testament to our considerable portfolio of work in Scotland, the company was thrilled to have three of our recent projects nominated for Scottish Civil Engineering Awards at a ceremony held in Edinburgh on Friday 22nd September 2023. The Scottish Civil Engineering Awards celebrate outstanding civil engineering achievement, innovation and ingenuity in Scotland.
The three Projects nominated for Awards were as follows:
- A77 Maybole Bypass –
Client – Transport Scotland (nominated by Client) - A832 Slattadale Improvement Works
Client – The Highland Council - New Cumnock Flood Protection Scheme
Client – Ayrshire Roads Alliance/East Ayrshire Council
Whilst the projects didn’t win a category award on the night we are very proud to have so many nominated within the same year. The judging criteria references that “shortlisted projects demonstrate their positive impact upon the communities that they serve and demonstrate how civil engineering has gone beyond the technical to make an excellent contribution to the sustainable creation, improvement and nurturing of the physical and social environment, demonstrating a circular economy approach”.
