We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor with a strong environmental focus to join our team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all our projects align with environmental regulations, sustainability best practices, and our corporate sustainability goals.

As our successful candidate you will be competent in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental and sustainability strategies across our projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and industry standards.
• Monitor, assess, and report on environmental impacts, including carbon footprint, waste management, and resource efficiency.
• Work closely with project teams to integrate sustainable practices into design, procurement, and construction processes.
• Conduct site audits and environmental assessments, identifying areas for improvement.
• Engage with regulatory bodies, local authorities, and stakeholders on sustainability matters.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging sustainability trends and innovations in the construction industry.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an environmental or sustainability role within construction or civil engineering.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, carbon reduction strategies, and circular economy principles.
• Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and sustainability reporting including carbon calculations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyse data and provide strategic recommendations for sustainability improvements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
