Wills Bros are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Dublin team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, hard working with a ‘hands-on’ approach to work. Possess a strong and flexible work ethic to support the needs of the business, and must have effective communication, problem solving and IT skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and evaluate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for our projects.
  • Conduct cost analysis and risk management for ongoing projects.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials and services.
  • Monitor project costs and progress, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documents and manage contract variations.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide accurate valuations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the Civil Engineering sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in the use of COINS, Bluebeam, MS Project software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving license and willingness to travel to project sites.
