Location:
We seek a competent and experienced Design Coordinator to join our team at Wills Bros. The successful applicant will be working on site-based Design & Build (Civil/Infrastructure) schemes in the Dublin area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical submissions for clients, including design submissions, value engineering and handover documents.
- Collaborate with design consultancies during design development, working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Interface with estimating teams to develop buildable solutions.
- Interpret client requirements and develop detailed design strategies.
- Assist Design Managers in overseeing and managing the design process on schemes.
- Drive value engineering and ensure delivery of the consultant’s deliverables.
- Support, understand, and advise clients on design requirements and obligations during design development.
- Ensure design compliance with current legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
- Maintain design quality and adhere to project timescales.
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering Degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience.
- Proficient in civil design, capable of undertaking designs with minimal or moderate guidance.
- Familiar with meeting standards and specifications.
- Capable of working within time and cost targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
