Clonshaugh Foul Sewer Pipeline Diversion

This Zero Risk Project involved the installation of over 560meters of 1200mm concrete S&S pipeline up to 6.7m depth in order to divert a section of the existing North Fringe Foul Sewer Pipeline out of the route of proposed development works.

The project required the existing foul sewer pipeline to be maintained operational throughout the duration of the works with flows of up to 1,300 litres per second to be accommodated.

5 in-situ concrete manhole chambers were constructed along the line of the new pipeline at depths up to 8.5m.
